Set to be released on March 3, the Halo franchise continues its massive success with their latest release Halo Wars. In campaign mode, players get to command armies from the UNSC warship Spirit of Fire with both old and new units alike. Guided by Serina, players move through the game taking out the Covenant, the alien coalition threatening to destroy mankind.
Specifically created for the Xbox 360 console and its controller, Halo Wars can be played through both online and single-player. Gamers get to see what happened during the early battles between the UNSC and Covenant considering Halo Wars takes place before the first release of Halo. Challenge up to 6 of your friends online through the New Xbox Experience in multiple skirmish modes.
Gamers also get a chance to experience the Mythic Map Pack which contains 3 new Halo 3 multiplayer maps. The Honor Guard Wraith, a unique in-game vehicle provides gamers with yet another weapon in their struggle for victory. Halo buffs will also enjoy Halo Wars: Genesis; a graphic novel chronicling the first battle against the Covenant.
Gamers can choose between both Standard and Limited editions of Halo Wars with prices being set at $59.99 for standard and $79.99 for limited edition.
